To the new "Fanbase" in Canada... :l

It has come to my attention...that due to leaking of the web address to a certain blog...by a certain person...who will not be named...it seems that half of Canada is now reading this email...which I'm certain will mysteriously appear on the blog mere hours after I write this...

Yes...mmhmm...very funny...

I'm tickled pink...

anyway.... :l

This week has been SOOO SICK!!!  Man the Lord is just working miracle after miracle here in St. Thomas!!!  This week we were blessed to find 9 NEW INVESTIGATORS!!  It's so humbling to see the hand of the Lord working to bless the people of St. Thomas, soften hearts, and help those we come into contact with draw closer to Jesus Christ.  It's truly been a testament to me that I have nothing to do with the work going on here...and that He is mindful of every people in every land.  We were also able to help one of the people we're working with set a baptismal date!  It's been such a blessing to be able to help people progress towards growing closer to Jesus Christ...something that I know hasn't stopped blessing my life since I made the decision.

As we've kept exact obedience at the forefront of our goals, the Lord has blessed us :) :)

On Wednesday we had a 9 hour long Zone Conference...mmhmm...yeah...we did an ENTIRE weekly planning session...needless to say it was quite long...so we got shawarma after, which made it bearable. (Shawarma is a Arabic meat preparation, where lamb, chicken, turkey, beef, veal, carabeef, or mixed meats are placed on a spit, and may be grilled for as long as a day. Shavings are cut off the block of meat for serving, and the remainder of the block of meat is kept heated on the rotating spit. Shawarma can be served on a plate, or as a sandwich or wrap.)  It was super cool though, we received a lot of good instruction and revelation on how to better plan and prepare to help others draw closer to Jesus Christ!  Setting goals gives us a direction to go, so it's been super cool!  This week we hit almost every single one of our goals, and blew some out of the water!  Don't ya just love miracles?;)

Highlights this week came in finding SO many people prepared to hear the message of the Restored Gospel!  Truly there are people everywhere who not only are willing, but who desperately need the peace and comfort this message brings.  It becomes our duty, then, as missionaries, to have the faith necessary to seek them out, have the Spirit with us to discern who they are, and the courage to open our mouths, so the Lord can speak through us to minister unto those souls He has called us to save.
We, as members of Christ's church, and children of God, are ALL in the business of saving souls...it is our calling to minister unto the sick and afflicted, to strengthen the hands that hang down, and to preach liberty to the captives.  It is NOT the sole job of a missionary.  Anyone whose been a missionary will testify to the end of time that the strongest missionaries are not those with a name tag, but those who reside in the boundaries of the missionary's area!!  Member missionary work is the key to growing the Lord's kingdom here on the earth!  Everyone knows someone who may be struggling, or someone who the Spirit could identify that needs your help.  It becomes our focus then, to follow the promptings God gives us, and have the courage to open our mouths.  The Lord has promised that they will be filled, that He will speak through us to comfort His children.  We've seen miracles from bringing members out to lessons, they are truly the biggest strength to missionary work, outside of the Holy Ghost Himself.

This week, has been wonderful, in receiving constant confirmations of the absolute unconditional love of my Savior, Jesus Christ...
I've been reading "Jesus the Christ" by James E. Talmage, and it has opened my eyes to truly who he was...I've come to know Him on a much deeper level..and gained a greater understanding of what He did for me..
My testimony of Him is one thing I can always lean on, and one thing I could never deny.  My life experiences have led me to the absolute unyielding conclusion that indeed...
Jesus was the Christ, of whom the prophets foretold.  His Atonement is real...and exists for our benefit and use today...Christ is the way for us to return to live with our Heavenly Father again.
His sacrifice for us was complete.  All-encompassing.  My testimony is that He lives.  Proclaiming that He lives, and that He is Risen is something I could never grow tired of, nor something that my words could ever truly represent.  He lives, and He lives because He was who He proclaimed to be.  His works on this earth were real...they happened.  He was a humble carpenter's son...yet in Him rested the ability for all of us to be freed of our burdens that we carry.

He lives, I know it, and I will proclaim it boldly for eternity.  I know that my Redeemer lives.  That comforting sentence, as portrayed in Hymn #136, has come to mean so much to me.  As a representative of Him, it is an honor...to go out and minister unto His children.  He has helped me to love the people of St. Thomas in a way I couldn't do on my own.  I love these people...they are His people...and He loves them so much...I see that every day in the people I meet..what a blessing to be a missionary!  I love it, and I love the Lord.

Thank you for all your support and prayers!  I couldn't do it without you!:)

LOVES!
